BRITISH OFFICERS SHIRT
Nigel Cabourn's standard shirt, the British Officer's Shirt, was not satisfied with starting with a custom-made fabric, and started by selecting and blending the short cotton fibers that make up the thread, and using the original weft yarn from the spinning process. This shirt takes about 6 months from the start of production to the final product. In other words, it takes 2 months to make the thread, 2 months to make the fabric, and 2 months to make the product. If you purchase ready-made fabric from a fabric store and turn it into a finished product, it will take about two weeks at the earliest.
Even so, we have never changed our manufacturing method since we first made this classic shirt.
We pour our heart and soul into a simple, ordinary oxford shirt.
